Hauzer’s strength is expertise in hard coatings produced with PVD coating technology and PACVD coating technology. After more than 25 years of experience and knowledge, a broad range of customers have profited from the developed PVD coating solutions; whether in decorative hard coatings, tribological coating or tool coating markets. Hauzer’s PVD coating systems offer a wide range of PVD process solutions with a possibility for hybrid technology: combining different technologies in one process. E.g. arc evaporation, Unbalanced Magnetron Sputtering (UBM), PACVD, Dual Magnetron Sputtering (DMS) and High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering Plus (HIPIMS⁺). Hauzer delivers more than just PVD coating processes or PVD coating equipment; it has several Competence Centres at its disposal, equipped with dedicated Flexicoat^® machines for PVD coating development, PVD process qualification and PVD pilot production. The locations of the Competence Centres are in Venlo (The Netherlands), Shanghai (China) and Yokohama (Japan). 

Hauzer’s R&D focuses on application development for industrial scale PVD coating and PACVD coating production, therefore the Flexicoat^® development machines are full scale industrial PVD machines. More than 100 employees make sure customers not only receive the right PVD process equipment needed for their specific PVD and PACVD coating needs, but they also obtain the global customer support they need.
